My Baby is Sick :(

Well this is the first time Chase has been sick. He has pheumonia. The poor thing has been so sick but he is still happy enough to give me a smile:) He is getting soooo big. At his last doctors appointment he was 18 pounds 13 ounces and 27 inches long. He is a giant 4 month old! He is growing up sooo fast I can't even count. Last night he was up on and off with a temperature of 101.3 but the doctor said it was because he got his immunizations. It made me cry to see him so upset and pitiful after his shots. The doctor said he should be fine by tomorrow. Hopefully he will wake up tomorrow bright eyed and cheerful :)

On another note I feel like I should sent out this message to give prayers for my Step Brother's son who was born last week, Caleb Joseph Thompson. Caleb was flown out to Children's Hospital late last night with a temperate of 92 degree's. Last night Caleb almost died. I can't imagine how the mother (Paige) must feel. My heart goes out to them at this difficult time. The doctors are thinking that Caleb was born with group b strep which is rare considering Paige was treated with the antibiotic for it. He is 6 lbs 1 oz. We will find out tomorrow what exactly the problem is.

Things like this make me feel so blessed that I had my son with no problems because I just can't imagine what I would do If I were in the same situation that Paige and Chris are in.

Well... Big news. Chase James Maston was born on October 23,2009 at 10:53 am, weighing 6 lbs 13.4 oz and 19" Long! He was absolutely beautiful! See the pictures below. I've been home for about a month and just started back to work! I miss him like crazy when I'm at work. It sucks. Today he seems to be sounding alittle conjested. He has always grunted since he was born like a little goat, lol. But today I think he might not be feeling all that great. We have had our times already with diapers, and gas and crying, and not SLEEPING. But everything is doing well now he is on a pretty good schedule. He did get thrush in his mouth and I feel so bad having to give him the medicine. He must hate the taste. Well today he is 1 month, 2 weeks, and 2 days old. Right now he is finally sleeping peacefully. I wonder if he will be feeling better soon. I may run him to the doctors office tomorrow if he doesn't sleep well tonight and still sounds stuffy. Well I will keep you posted, more frequently from now on!

Long Time No Talk!

Its been a long while since my last post. Sorry I need to start remembering. I have a dr. appt tomorrow to get a rh shot and take the diabeties test. Everything is going well! So far so Good! I am officially in my third trimester! 2/3rds the way there, thank goodness. Thursday I am flying out to see raphael until Monday! Chase is kicking the crap out of me more and more every day lol. I can feel all of the twitches and rolls and kicks and hiccups. Its unreal that there is actually a human life in there! Ive been doing a lot of job searching lately with not much luck. Hopefully someone will hire me even though I am pregnant. I'm so bored and I need to keep myself busy. The stay at home life is really sucking right now. I am attaching a picture from two weeks ago of me at 26 weeks. I will post some more as I get bigger! Well thats all for now, I will update on the dr. appt tomorrow!

Dr. Appt Today!

Today I met with dr. aron to check to make sure everything is okay with chase. He is doing great! When listening to his heartbeat he was going nuts and kicking where the microphone is. lol. My next appt. is in 3 weeks and I have to take the diabeties test and get my first of two injections because my blood is RH negative. I got to sit back and relax today which was good. I booked a flight for north carolina on wednesday and will drive home on monday so I can see my husband! I can't wait! Tomorrow I have an interview with Beretta as an accountant. Hopefully they will look past the pregnancy and hire me because I need to work! I'm so bored. I'm also going to meet with my cousin jillian for lunch! yummy. My appetite is definately increased. I've gained about 7-10 pounds since finding out I was prego. I wonder how much weight I have left...ugh. Well I'll keep you posted tomorrow.

Well here is my first post. I am excited to start this whole new world of blogging mainly for my son to read when he gets older so he knows about mommy and daddy before and after his birth. Well Raphael and I were married on May 3rd 2009 finally! after dating for about five and a half years. We were planning on getting married next year but mommy found out she was pregnant in the end of February and we had to speed up the process. I am in college and have my 2 year degree in accounting and am working on my 4 year. Raphael is in the Labor union 980 and is working in north carolina. Right now I am 6 1/2 months pregnant. We were so excited the day we found out we were having a baby. Raffi went through the roof when he found out we were having a boy! We have decided to name him Chase Marley Maston. Raffi just left for north carolina again today after a fun weekend! We had Richard and Auntie Sam's wedding to go to! It was wonderful! I have attached some pictures to share!
